MegaRagnaRock (PC) - Estela's Floating Castle part 1 - #14 [Mega Man-like]

This is a very good Mega Man-like game, especially how the special weapons seem to be more vital and useful than in the Mega Man games, and there is a difference, you can choose in each boss 1 of 3 different special weapons, in the end you will only have 8, but you can play 3 times with a completely different set of special weapons, it is a very interesting replay value.

The items are also interesting, you can buy various items that help you not to slide on the ice, not to be pushed by the wind, or more armor, remove knockback, but you can't equip everything you have to choose from, and the level design takes the items into account, in the ice stage it will be actually easier with the item that does not slide on the ground, and the wind stage too, but in the final stages when it throws at the player a stage that has wind and ice and makes you have to choose whether you want to not slide on the ice or get pushed by the wind because if you don't use anything it will be very difficult, it's really interesting.

The level design and enemy placement are definitely more challenging than in a regular Mega Man, but there are more checkpoints and more items, and again, the special weapons can be very useful, so on normal it doesn't get too stressful, in fact I used the Serpent Chaser a lot, 1-3 guided shots that don't consume much battery and are very strong in almost all situations, which helped a lot.

It's a very good game and I'll definitely play more with different sets of special weapons. Next time I'll record better by removing those black bars that appear in full screen. Right now, I wanted to record/play faster, so I'll go with the way I was.

For now, it's only available on Dlsite and it's barely sold, so for those who are interested, play it.
