Kanazawa - Contemporary Art, Ice Cream Sandos and BBQ - Family Road Trip Across Japan, Episode 5

This is episode 5 of our epic road trip around Japan. In this video we visit Kanazawa's 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, visit a couple of historic areas and have the World's Second Best Baked Melon-pan Ice Cream sandwich. Plus coffee and pastries and some very fine Japanese BBQ at Takaji.

Takaji was recommended by the owner of Sanjo. I mispronounced the restaurant's name in the video. A very friendly and helpful restaurateur. We will have to try Sanjo the next time we're in Kanazawa.

The next day, after final coffee at Curio, we hit the road for Kyoto. Only stopping to have lunch and stock up on souvenir snack foods at one of Japan's fabulous road side stops (Michi-no-eki), Shizugatake.

Next stop, Kyoto.
