DCS World - A-4E - Lebanon 1970 - MiG Kills For Skyhawk

The year is 1970. and the War of Attrition between Israel and Arabs is in full swing. Palestinians start using Lebanese territory to launch attacks against northern Israel and in order to counter them, operation Cauldron 2 is launched. It includes ground invasion of Lebanon with full support of the Israeli Air Force. Targets in Syria are attacked as well and Syrian involvement is expected.
A-4 Skyhawk is now the main light bomber in Israeli service and it provides close air support to the operation. Skyhawk pilots are instructed to ignore any Syrian attack aircraft they encounter and focus on the CAS mission. But, one of the flights is lead by 109th squadron Ezra Dotan who had prevoiusly flown Mirage III's and had claimed three kills. He did encounter Syrian MiG-17s while looking for ground targets to attack. What did he do? You can find out in the video.
