DCS World - F/A-18 - MiG-21 Kills in Desert Storm

Operation Desert Storm commenced on 17 January 1991. Hornets from USS Saratoga joined in and in this video we follow a flight of four Hornets during their first daytime strike of the War. Their primary mission was to drop unguided Mk84 bombs on Iraqi airbase known simply as H-3. However, the Hornets would get a chance to prove worthy of their dual designation - fighter and attack, as a pair of Iraqi MiG-21s suddenly appears ahead of them at supersonic speed.
This is the first DCS World historic reenactment placed in the Operation Desert Storm on this channel.
