The lovely, multi-talented Ida Lupino ( February 4, 1918 – August 3, 1995) was one of the ladies of noir, and one of the earliest ones at that. Having begun in films as a teenager, when she went to Warner Brothers in the late 1930s she began playing stronger and more dramatic roles. She could play tough, vulnerable, femme fatale, etc. Not only did noir give her more dramatic parts, but it also gave her a new career in a sense - not just as an actress, but as a producer and director as well - and she directed a few film noir movies herself. Music by Kevin MacLeod and Mark Isham.
