A tribute to the fifth teaming of Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler, "Flirtation Walk"(1934), which was their first dramatic picture together, and while this is a musical (with very little dancing), this is definitely a more dramatic love story, set in Hawaii. The supporting cast included Pat O'Brien, Ross Alexander, John Arledge, and John Eldrege. Dick Powell, of course, recorded the title tune.
