NIO ES Electric Car Review | How NIO Plans To Beat Tesla ?
Nio is one of the most talked-about electric car companies in the entire world. Recently, one of its models is getting some extra attention in the electric car industry, which is none other than the Nio EC6. The EC6 is heavily based upon Nio’s early production, the ES6. Though the inspiration for the EC6 came from the ES6, there are many differences in the new model, such as sloped-roof, less-headroom-in-the-rear-seat, a 100-kWh liquid-cooled thermostatic unit in the battery pack, etc. The car has much more than this so, now it’s time to reveal all the exciting specs of the Nio EC6.
Exterior
Let’s talk about this beauty’s face first, the exterior. Nio is famous for having some very unique fronts, and they continued their legacy with the EC6 too. If you see the car from the front, you’ll see that it seems to be the perfect blend between a Lamborghini Urus and a Hyundai Kona.
The DRLs (Daytime running lights) are quite slim and are placed in the corner of the hood, which leads to the front fascia, while a cluster of headlights is placed directly beneath. The whole thing is protected by bumpers that look like a shark’s face. Seeing from the side, you can notice that the car’s sloping roofline becomes very sharp as it reaches the rear end, which is, in fact, very hunchback. The car's rear has some very fancy taillights that seem to be a cluster of shiny horizontal lines. The car has an extremely pretty glossy paint, and the entire look of the car is completed with a 22.6-square-foot panoramic roof. Let’s talk about the dimensions now; the car is 190.9 inches long, 77.4 inches wide and 69.2 inches high, has a wheelbase of 114.2-inch or the 6.7-inch ground clearance.
