The 2022 Nissan Ariya SUV, which will be available in the United States in 2021, expands Nissan's electric car line up. With a range of up to 300 miles, Nissan's Ariya hatchback joins the Leaf in Nissan showrooms, as opposed to the Leaf's maximum range of 226 miles. Nissan's Ariya deviates from its existing cars, which are characterized by sharp, angular lines. Its low, broad stance distinguishes the Ariya from the Rogue and gives it a sportier appearance. There will be two battery capacities: a 63.0-kWh basic battery and an optional 87.0-kWh battery, with a front- or all-wheel-drive option.

Nissan's first all-new vehicle is the Ariya. Nissan's ProPilot 2.0 semi-autonomous driving technology first debuted in Japan on the Nissan Skyline. When equipped with the optional dual-front/rear-motor drive system and the larger 87.0-kWh battery pack, Ariya is said to have a range of up to 300 miles.
Pricing and Release Date of Nissan's Ariya 2022
Upon the Nissan Ariya's arrival in early 2022, the price will be about $40,000. Compared with the long-range Tesla Model Y, the company's most affordable SUV, starting at $54,990, that's nearly $15,000 less.
The Ariya will be available in Japan between December and February after its midsummer debut was postponed due to a global chip shortage. In the United States, the release date has also been pushed back from late 2021 to early 2022.
