Video footage has been released showing the aftermath of a Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Moscow region. A drone flew into an apartment in a multi-story residential building on Cosmonauts Boulevard in the region on October 24. Regional governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that the drone hit an apartment on the 14th floor. As a result of the attack, five people were injured, including a child. Four of the victims were taken to hospitals: the adults with traumatic brain injuries, fractures, and shrapnel wounds, and the child with minor injuries. According to Russia’s TASS news agency, 70 people were evacuated from the building, and three apartments were damaged. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed in his Telegram post that the Russian air defense had shot down three drones flying toward the capital.
