Student Voices: Francy Gomez
Pacesetter BSN student Francy Gomez, a native of Colombia, describes the three things that, for her, “really set UTHealth apart from other nursing schools.” She also talks about how her experiences as a nursing student made her realize that she really enjoyed volunteering at community events where “they’re promoting and educating people to have a healthier and safer lifestyle.” Now a UTHealth School of Nursing alumna, she imagines “researching why people do and don’t do certain things, and trying to figure out how we can really encourage people to change daily habits.”
