This high-definition video, “21st Century Simulation Innovation in Education & Research,” dramatically demonstrates how a top-tier training center at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Nursing simulates "nearly real-life" conditions. The Pre-clinical Critical Care Laboratory (PCCL) allows nursing students to experience unavoidable high-risk situations in a clinical setting and learn hands-on skills for making patients as safe as possible. This video received the Award of Merit-Best Shorts Competition in 2012.
