Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this InterVac RMD vacuum cleaner in white. Now this is a remote mounted central vacuum power unit that's designed specifically for compact space saving installations. So this is gonna be ideal if you want strong vacuum performance, but you don't have a lot of room to work with. And because this is remote mounted, you can install it out of the way like in a garage, a workshop, RV, boat or utility space, and still get the solid suction where you need it.

Now this does run on standard 120 volt power. I do have it plugged into my extension cord here. Let me just kick this on real quick. We do have a power switch. Just kind of wanted to give you a feel for the sound.

It's not terribly loud, but it's gonna be very powerful for you. Let's take a closer look at it. I wanna give you some measurements. So let me see if I can just prop this up here real quick to where it'll stand up on its own. And just wanted to give you some measurements before we go any further.

Just so you're confident this will work in your space. Looking at the overall height, we're sitting pretty close to 18 inches tall. The overall width end to end, about nine and a halfish to nine and three-quarters, it looks like. And then the overall depth, see if I can turn this here, keep it held up here. Now we do have this area where it sticks out just a little bit, so actually let me turn it around like this.

That might be a little bit easier to measure. So I just, again, these are rough measurements, just giving you a feel of the size. I wanna say we're sitting pretty close to five and a quarter inches deep. Now looking at the cutout, let me turn it around like this. Again, this is just gonna be the depth of the cutout itself, about four inches. The width of the cutout, about eight inches, and the height of the cutout about 16. So hopefully those measurements we inchesre helpful and hopefully, you could see that as well. Now it is important to let you know that this is just a power unit only. Obviously, it comes in white, so it should match well with your interior. So this does not include an accessory kit. No hoses or attachments come with this. So what you do get is going to be the complete power unit set up, including the circuit board, the low voltage wires, the power cord, so it'll be ready to wire into your system if you are needing those accessories. We do have accessory kits available here at etrailer. Now this design's gonna make installation straightforward. That has a front inlet right here, and then it also has top exhaust, and you probably already saw that right here. So that's going to allow for direct airflow routing and a clean surface mount set up. The direct discharge design design's gonna keep you airflow efficient and simple. I wanted to pop open the top panel here just to show you what's going on in there. So you will get one dust bag that comes with the vacuum cleaner and then you'll have a filter there, a motor filter as well. Now we do sell the replacement bags and filters. Typically, it's gonna be a kit of either like three to five bags and then one filter. So if you pick up this vacuum cleaner, it might be a good idea to pick up some extra bags and a filter as well just so you have it on hand. Performance wise, this is gonna give you strong suction, making it effective on upholstery, carpets, tile and hard flooring. So whether you're cleaning vehicle interiors, shop floors, living spaces, this is gonna be built to handle a variety of surfaces. The housing is made from a composite material, so this is gonna resist rust and corrosion. Obviously that's gonna be a big plus if this is installed in a garage, a workshop, or even a a marine environment where moisture could be a concern.
