Get fast, run slow with Dr. Mark Cucuzzella (2:24 marathoner)

Dr. Mark Cucuzzella shares his first experience with MAF low heart rate training with the 180 formula after coming across an article by Mark Allen, 6 time World Champion Ironman. He improved at a MAF HR of 150 from an 11 min / mile (6:50 min / km) to a 6 min / mile (3:44 / km) in a 4 month period. He finished his first race after MAF training in 2:28 and felt he ran very comfortable.
