The unique area called Garden of the Gods, Colorado
[Colorado] People came to the area during the Pikes Peak gold rush in 1859. The unique red rocks were eventually named "Garden of the Gods". Visiting the area is easy and there are plenty of walk ways. Garden of the Gods is located just a few miles northeast of Colorado Springs. Some of the rocks are estimated to be over 300 million years old.
