Lapakahi - The Ancient Fishing Village.
Location: The Big Island of Hawaiʻi
Lapakahi is located in the North Kohala district, down by the ocean. It is an area full of ruins from an ancient fishing village. It is one of the best preserved you can see in Hawaiʻi. The area is full of stone walls from former buildings. A few hundred years ago this area was a thriving community, but today you only have the stonewalls left. You need a few hours to cover the whole thing.
