Ruby's Lemon Fluff Dessert - Bonita's Kitchen

Today we will be making Ruby's Lemon Fluff Dessert, this dessert can also be a cold salad. See recipe below! TRADITIONAL NEWFOUNDLAND COLD PLATES https://youtu.be/cgoEFpyytME

Ingredients:
1 85g Pack Yellow Jello
1 250g Pack Cream Cheese
1 398ml Can Crushed Pineapples
1 Cup Hot Water
Method:
In a medium bowl add lemon jello, hot water and mix well.
• In another bowl add room temp cream cheese and mix until soft.
• Slowly add jello liquid and mix together, by hand or mixer, until all combined.
• Open crushed pineapples and drain all liquid, then add crushed pineapples to mixture and fold in. Put all mixture in a square or round glass pan, cover with lid or clear wrap.
• After put RUBY’S LEMON FLUFF DESSERT in fridge and let set for 4 to 6 hours or over night.
SERVE WITH YOUR COLD PLATES OR ON ITS OWN FOR A DESSERT WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND MORE FRUIT.
Cold plate is a meal made up of potato salads, cold slaw, cold cuts, and tomatoes and lettuce. Usually served on Sunday’s for supper or special occasion. Visit www.bonitaskitchen.com for Traditional Newfoundland Cold Plates.
