2 essential things required to make a sale 👇

Step 1: Have competence! 💪

You need to communicate and instill the belief that you’re good at what you do. This is usually easier the longer your track record of successful deliveries is. Education and certificates are usually just the baselines that everybody comes in with.

If you don’t have a track record of successful projects, you need to build one. Start off by doing work for free the first few times, then start charging minimally, and then work your way up from that.
Step 2: Get your clients to trust you! 🤝

The person you’re communicating with has to feel that you have their best interest at heart, and you should, that’s the only way to have a long term business relationship. You both have to be winning.

If you’re missing one of these two checkpoints, you’re not going to close the sale.
If you’re competent but don’t communicate good intent, the client will think, this guy is sharp, but he’s slippery, can’t really trust him or her.
