Make sure your site has a sitemap

Step 1: To make sure Google indexes all of your pages, you need to have a sitemap.
A sitemap is just an XML file that will consist of all URLs that exist on your website and that you want to index.

You need to upload your sitemap through a Google service called Google Webmaster Tools.
It is a service for website owners with many great features like showing where you rank on Google for different search terms.

Step 2: Off-site SEO is defined by many factors such as the number of websites that link to your website, domain authority of those websites, etc. Their domain authority is the number and the quality of pages that link to them. Getting pages to link to you is a complex process, which I’ll cover in other videos.

Step 3: To optimize your on-site SEO you need to have perfect content. Firstly, you need to know which keywords you want to rank for. Tools like Adwords and Ahrefs can help you research keywords. Step 4: Content on your site helps you attract and retain users on your site. Make sure to add keywords in h-tags. Use your secondary keywords that are related to your main keyword on your pages. Check your spelling errors, and make sure your content is engaging.

Step 5: Google crawls your website, keywords, spelling errors, code, etc. To make your website have perfect HTML, check out tools such as w3.validator and Lighthouse.

Step 6: Optimize your page speed. Did you know that only speeding up your website loading time can help you double your traffic? To do so, you can use tools such as Pingdom speed tool.
