Levels member and registered dietitian Stephanie Greunke learned what foods were responsible for her afternoon energy crash and cravings. Crashes are often driven by blood sugar spikes. After a spike from a carb-heavy meal, the body overcorrects with insulin, which then causes reactive hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. She made tweaks to her diet and now feels more energized throughout her day.
