Anna used to have a huge acne problem. You can’t even imagine how much money and nerves she’s spent on that; and what’s more important - her happy childhood.

It all started when she was a teenager. Sexual maturity and everything that goes with hormones and growth turned her face into a true blooming field. She used to find pimples even where they couldn’t possibly exist!

But at the age of 14 almost everyone faces that problem, so she didn’t really get upset. She just added some special masks and a cucumber lotion to her morning routine. But it didn’t work. The pimples were itching and bursting, and the skin on Anna’s face looked terrible. Everybody told her that was because of her age and soon she’d grow out of it.

At the age of 15 the girls from Anna’s class grew into really good looking women, but not her.
What started as a normal reaction of her growing body, turned into a reason for mockery and tears because the nightmare on girl’s face wouldn’t go away, rather it became brighter and stronger. There were pimples, blackheads and other filth. Anna’s mom talked to a cosmetologist and purchased some expensive masks and lotions. There were almost no result. She learned to use a concealer and powder and never left home without makeup, but still looked like a clown in makeup with huge pimples.

Naturally while everybody was falling in love, her self-esteem was drooping low. At the prom, she cried big tears and hide my face from the photographer. Classmates made fun of her and told her to roll herself up into a scarf. This made Anna feel horrible.

At 17 she fell in love. The dating sites were popular, so she decided to try her luck there. So she used her Photoshop skills and met a boy from her town. They started texting a lot, sharing their feelings and plans. He was such a wonderful guy, and so she thought, “This is it - my true love.” Anna was sure he would accept her just the way she was. So she agreed to meet him.

She put tons of makeup on to look beautiful. Obviously, it was her kind of day: a beautiful sunset and a dark cafe hid all of her imperfections. The date went just awesome! He appeared to be a cool guy and totally met her expectations. They were chatting and joking all night long and she didn’t want to leave. When he offered to drive her home, she happily agreed.

Suddenly it started pouring rain. A true waterfall collapsed onto their heads and they rushed through the rain, romantically holding hands. But all that water washed away Anna’s makeup in seconds! The asphalt under their feet changed color into skin-beige, and her date faced the beast from his nightmares. He froze for a second, then looked away and ran in an unknown direction, along with the waters, probably.

She was in deep despair when grandmother gave her some herbal concoction, which, obviously, was magical, because it washed all the acne away!

Of course, later her skin was healed in a salon. But more importantly, Anna finally turned from a frog into a princess! And that guy soon texted her again. He apologized and asked for a second chance. She, acting like a true princess, dumped him.

Now Anna’s 22. She’s got lots of admirers. And you know what girls? Love yourself, no matter what. Because your true partner will love you anyway - even with acne and no makeup. Try to be more natural and don’t scare guys with tons of makeup. Don’t risk repeating Anna’s «raining thing».
