Fintech and Belt and Road: A Perfect Fit

Hong Kong is shaping to become the regional hub for fast-developing financial technology (Fintech): so say Fintech author and analyst Paul Schulte and Program Manager at the Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab in Hong Kong, Fiona Chan. Hong Kong’s strategic banking position makes it a hub for Fintech as a pioneering sector along China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Fiona Chan believes. Canada-based financial security firm APRIVACY has moved part of its operation to Hong Kong to take advantage of regional Fintech opportunities after undertaking the Accenture programme.
