Mind Stefan grew up on a dairy farm in Upper Styria soon realising that he's not meant to become a farmer like his father. That's when he turned to his mother asking if it's okay to go off track until he eventually started studying Information Design in Graz. Today, Stefan is co-founder of the accomplished design agency Simplease and the self-funded user testing startup Userbrain, he is consulting enterprises to design user-friendly software solutions, and he is teaching design students how to become successful designers too. In his speech he describes how important it is to define problems before finding solutions - not only as designers but in everyday life.
