Tooling for Lineboring & Bore Welding Machine | Sir Meccanica WS2

In this video we are showing and explaining the range of tooling and consumables that we use for our Sir Meccanica WS2 portable Lineboring and Bore Welding machine to help make jobs easier. A lot of the tooling has been shop made, modified or even adapted from the Elsa Lineboring tooling. We show the three different ways on how we setup the boring bar plus the tooling we use when line boring. We show a simple way to measure the bore using a snap gauge and how to advance the tool using a dial indicator. You will also see how we cut internal snap ring grooves using a Vertex (Wolhaupter style) automatic boring and facing head from a milling machine that was adapted for cutting snap ring grooves. We then give a rundown of the welding consumables and setup we use when we are bore welding with the Sir Meccanica WS2 machine.
