Machining BIG Hydraulic Cylinder Barrel for 190 Tonne Mining Excavator | Machining & Welding

This video is of a job we did to re-barrel and machine up a big hydraulic bucket cylinder barrel for a Hitachi EX1900 (190 tonne) mining excavator. We had to manual machine both the barrel end and barrel head flange off the old cylinder, machine up a new barrel for interference fit, then fit and weld on barrel ends to the new barrel.
