Everyday differences between the UK and Italy

Still being in Italy in spirit, I thought it would be fun to talk about the more everyday differences between the UK and Italy that I noticed during my 3 and a half months living there. Some of these I would say even now are still culture shocks to me; others are just smaller differences I've observed.
