Scott Morrison’s unpopularity dragged down Liberal votes

Former Labor senator Stephen Conroy says Scott Morrison’s unpopularity kept the Liberal primary vote at “one of its lowest points ever”.

“In some sections of the community, they were prepared to vote out good sitting members on the basis that if the only way to change Scott Morrison was to dump Josh Frydenberg,” he said.

“Well then Josh we love you, you’re a great bloke, but you’re gone.”
