Daniel Craig admitted that he was a little nervous returning to Benoit Blanc’s accent in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, inspiring costars Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, and Jessica Henwick (among others) to start speaking in the accent with him! Janelle Monae faced a different struggle in the much-anticipated sequel to Knives Out by director Rian Johnson. Lady Gaga spoke with an Italian accent for months while filming House of Gucci. Austin Butler’s voice was entirely changed after filming wrapped on Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. Ana de Armas does not actually speak English as her first language, which was only a minor problem when it came to being cast as Marilyn Monroe in the Netflix film Blonde.
