Auld Lang Syne has always been my favourite song at this time of the year. I love the original Scots Gaelic lyrics. The text was written by Robert Burns in 1788 but based on an older Scottish Folk song. For me, this song represents community and our need for connection. As I reflect on the year, I am reminded of what is truly important. For me it’s family, love and friendship.

This was a version that we recorded and filmed during rehearsals for my recent concert.
