I Started Over Again!!: Simple TWA Style for Short Hair

Welcome back and Happy Black History Month!

In case you were unable to survive my Intro, long story short I cut my hair again 💇🏽‍♀️ Despite talking about growing out my hair in my last video, I felt it important to do another semi-big chop for several reasons.(Unfortunately I did not record it but to be honest it started out as a trim and I just allowed myself to go crazy.)

First off, I felt there were damaged areas of my hair (mainly my ends) that would've needed more repairing before it could grow longer and healthier due to the previous coloring I had done. Secondly, I realized I hadn't made very many videos with short hair and missed a large window of opportunity for videos on various styles and techniques within my hair’s many stages. Lastly, I really felt that I rushed the process of my hair growth because I felt insecure about my looks resembling those of a boy. I couldn’t wait for it to grow out and I didn’t allow my self to appreciate my hair or be creative with what I was given.

I want whoever watches my videos to feel empowered and beautiful no matter what they think they look like or what others might say. It is important to NOT LET THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS KEEP YOU FROM DOING YOU!! Everyone should be able to feel confident and beautiful in every stage of their hair growth (or life in general) no matter what and this is truly something that should be ingrained in the minds of young people (especially young girls) everywhere.

With that being said, I am back to show you guys a super easy way to amp up your everyday TWA Style. For all the natural-haired beauties who are at the same or similar hair stage I am. I hope you enjoy!
