Award -winning guitarist JIM MULLEN performs Richard Niles’ arrangement of the Wayne Shorter composition “Beauty & The Beast” for his Bandzilla project. Niles conducts the BBC Big Band, 2002 at the Falkirk Festival in Callendar Park.. The band features many other BANDZILLA regulars including NIGEL HITCHCOCK (tenor sax), IAN THOMAS (drums), LAURENCE COTTLE (bass), Martin Shaw (trumpet, jazz chair), Jim Watson (piano), Phil Robson (guitar) Niles and Mullen started working together when Niles produced and wrote songs for the influential jazz-funk band MORRISEY MULLEN album, “It’s About Time”. Niles also produced the Jim Mullen solo albums “Thumbs Up”, “Burns” and “Animation”.
