INSIDE IMPROVISATION is a 4 part series of half-hour documentary programs broadcast on BBC Radio 2 in March, 2005. Written and produced by composer and author Richard Niles, the shows feature interviews with some of the greatest musicians such as Pat Metheny, Randy Brecker, Michael McDonald and Gary Burton not only describing but demonstrating their concepts on their instruments.
