Drawing a 600 year old oak tree ✶ Sketching on location in Scotland

The Birnam Oak (near Dunkeld, Scotland) is estimated to be 600 years old and it was an honor to walk among its heavy boughs and draw it, despite the very cold misty weather. In this video I will share my experience and talk about why and how I like to draw trees outside.
