Isle of Skye in WINTER ✶ Artist TRAVEL VLOG #3

The Isle of Skye is beautiful year round, but has a very special attitude in winter. It's my favorite place in the world, and I draw most of my inspiration from my annual trips there. The scenery you see in this video fuels my soul and my art. It's hard to describe...you just need to be there!
The mountains...the mist...the mood...all epic! So let me take you on a journey through this amazing landscape.

This is a very photography heavy VLOG. The whole thing is presented to you from a photographer and artist perspective.
We visit Skye every year because it plays such an important role in my work.

The Scottish Gaelic, A' Chuith-Raing translates to the "pillared enclosure" which is very fitting, as you feel like you are being hugged by huge cliffs.
I've also read that Quiraing translates from Old Norse "Kví Rand," which means 'Round Fold' which makes sense!
