Blue Queen - Shadows Of Sunrise On Other Worlds (2008) [Full Album]

Rip of an out-of-print 2008 drone/ambient album by the Newcastle group Blue Queen, comprised of Benjamin Freeth, Mike Smith, and Mike Vest, also of the group Bong and various other projects between them.
From the liner notes:
"We begin to play... We awaken... Our bodies disappear... From the playing a heat is generated... A slow burning heat that intensifies and soars... A heat so intense it burns itself into the consciousness."

Blue Queen present a relentless battle between darkness and light unbalanced by excessive mortido. A palette of horse hair on wire, magnets, cymbals, guitar, pedals, singing bowls, sitar and Taisho harp are used to conjure this global, ancient music. This unceasing, elemental, primitive noise, noise not entirely of this world[,] is best appreciated in a trance like state between wakefulness and sleeping.

These recordings represent zero commercial market value or intent yet reveal intense unspoken principles... These recordings are a spontaneous personal quest to create and share a form of expression lived and breathed, to share with a loose community playing their songs in any manner they wish.

"Mortido" is a word I've not seen before. Apparently it comes from psychoanalysis, and as far as I understand anything to do with psychoanalysis refers to energy created by the desire to destroy oneself and the world around you. It seems to be the opposite of "Libido", though do not hold me to that being the exact relationship between the two concepts.
