Bloodborne™ PVP tricks and trolls

Fortunately I heard the footsteps. Initially I thought they were from below, as earlier I'd looked out and didn't see any of the Winter Lanterns. I happened to dodge at just the right time, or I'd have been thrown over the edge. At first I thought the guy was ganking, but I don't believe that's the case - probably just some guy who didn't want to be invaded (actually a very small minority of people in this area - one of the main reasons I like this area). I prefer straight-up PVP from willing participants, rather than ruining somebody's good time.
