The Genius of Christina Aguilera's "Stripped"

Christine Aguilera is an American singer/songwriter who has had a career worth 3 decades. Starting in the late 90's, Christina's launch to super stardom was catapulted from her first single "Genie in a bottle". While Christina was good at selling the teen pop image, there was one artist who was always did it better: Britney Spears. After dealing with the media's constant comparisons, Christina went into the studio to create an R&B styled album, Stripped. Working with collaborators Alicia Keys and Linda Perry, Christina created a record ahead of its time that talks about taboo social issues such as homophobia, feminism, and abuse. In this video, we talk about the creation, impact, and influence this album has even till this day!
