Impala Escapes

A lion runs full speed ahead after it targets a herd of impalas, but when the impalas run off in different directions, all the lion ends up with is a nice bath and a friend that’s wondering what just happened. These two young lionesses are honing their hunting skills and it shows when they chase a few impalas and the occasional warthog that runs by. One of the felines can be seen stalking some impalas and wildebeests, but when it goes for the kill, it’s way too slow and misses out on a nice lunch. Just because we witness many kills on videos made by lions, it doesn’t mean they are always successful. The rate of success is actually only 20%.

Bushbuck Escapes

Wildlife enthusiasts had spent the morning following a pride of lions and were rewarded with this little gem of a sighting! Initially, they were stalking a small herd of kudu, but the bushbuck appeared between them and took their attention. Of all the directions to run, the bushbuck chose to run straight through the middle of the pride, but he still managed to get away! A leopard stalks a bushbuck on a dirt road, the bushbuck asks the leopard what it wants. The leopard remains quiet because he’s just thinking about eating the bushbuck.
