CORTADILLOS MEXICANOS | MEXICAN PINK CAKE

Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you how I make delicious Cortadillos Mexicanos, also known as Mexican pink cake. This cake is typically baked in a cooking sheet but the results are the same as if you bake it in a baking pan, the only differences is the amount it takes to cook. My kids love this cake and it’s perfect for any occasion. Ingredients: I’m using a 9.5 x 13.5 baking dish
3 cups flour
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter ( 1 stick)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 tbsp Mexican vanilla blend
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp baking powder
Frosting:
3 cups powder sugar
1/4 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp Mexican vanilla blend
3 drops of pink food coloring
1 serving of love 💕
