Airman Steven Scroggins Salutes his Grandfather

My Son, Steven Scroggins graduated from Air Force boot camp at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. I am so proud of my Son. He did this while fighting Bronchitis. Boot camp is hard enough as it is, but to do it while your sick takes a tremendous amount of will power and self discipline.

For me, one of the most touching moments came when Steven showed his respect and love for his Grandfather -- who is a retired Army officer and Vietnam Veteran -- by standing at attention and saluting him. Which you can see within this short video from the graduation ceremonies.

I'm proud of all my children.
