Toronto Pearson airport in-flight food service workers go on strike
Airline catering workers at Toronto Pearson airport have gone on strike, leaving travellers with limited food and beverage options.
More than 800 Gate Gourmet workers initiated the strike on Tuesday after negotiations between the company and the union fell through. The workers are demanding significant wage increases, but the company has failed to meet their demands.
The strike is expected to impact several airlines, including Air Canada and WestJet.
