Hallucinogenic magic mushrooms were thought to have healing properties for centuries. It extended right up to the 1960s, when their use was banned during the so-called war on drugs.

Today, they're going through a research renaissance, and scientists are revealing their potential to help people with mental health disorders, like anxiety, depression and PTSD.
