Journaling | why, how, & where to start :)
Hii here I'm talking to you allll about journaling. It's something that I can't help but be so passionate about when speaking about it because I just feel it's the face of something that's so much deeper. I feel it's the medium to opening up communication between your subconscious and conscious mind / thoughts. Going with that, I believe building a sound mind leads to a higher quality of living in so many other ways. I really hoped this gave you guys the insight that you were looking for and inspired you guys to get writing!!

- I believe a sound mind can make someone invincible.
- The 20/80 principle, 20% is factual reality and 80% is our fabricated perception of the situation in our mind. This means there's so much power for us to CHOOSE our interpretation of the situation in order to create a fertile, beneficial headspace.
- Helps to organize my thoughts
- Gives me a plan for my day
- Helps me work through thoughts / emotions
- Reminds me of my goals
- Helps me live with purpose and intent

- I utilize 3 forms: planner, diary, & creative journal
- Things I write about: journaling prompts, representative doodles of my mind, favorite quotes, "appreciations & affirmations", my goals, my dream life
9:41 | How You Can Start TODAY!
- Just start to write! Brain dump & write how you feel
- Try basic prompts such as "What I am grateful for today?", "How am I feeling today?"
- Start with just 5-10 minutes!
- Be open, honest, & authentic. Don't judge yourself! just let your emotions flow into translation on the paper :)
