"It is the largest internally flawless, vivid blue diamond ever to be offered for sale at auction. It's a pear-shaped diamond. It's pear brilliant cut, which means that the shape is completely unmodified and vivid blue, which is the highest saturation of colour that is given by the Gemmological Institute of America. The estimate is in the region of 35 million Swiss Francs ($39 million). It will be one of the most expensive gems ever sold at auction. And it really is a true wonder of nature."

"We know that it's Marlon Brando's because of the bezel. We can see that this 1675 (watch reference number) does not have a bezel on. And the story is that when they were filming the movie Apocalypse Now, they were afraid that the watch would attract too much attention. So they told Mr. Brando not to wear it and he just decided to pop the bezel out himself in order to wear it. And when we look at the reverse side, we can admire the signature, the hand engraved signature that he made on the caseback that makes this piece Marlon Brando's."
