Tablesaw Dado Cutting Sled
This jig is a very simple design for a table saw cross-cutting sled. Instead of making or buying 3/4" sliding bars, I incorporate a couple of extra cheap miter gauges that came with my grizzly tools. I don't have to modify them in any way - modern gauges usually have holes predrilled for a sub-fence. Basically, the jig is just a sub-fence that connects two gauges together. dust collection in back of the fence is a big improvement - I will be adding this feature onto all of my sleds. The over-the-blade dust port still needs some re-configuration for better clearance, but it seems to function very well.
