Antelope and their Habitats: A closer look at Kudu, Springbok, Impala, Blesbok and Red Hartebeest

Antelope by definition are any of various ruminant deer-like mammals (family Bovidae) chiefly from Africa and southwest Asia that have a slender lean build and usually horns. @Shamwari Private Game Reserve is home to many different species of antelope, from Eland to small antelope such as Duiker and Steenbok.

Although Antelope is used as a general term by definition, it is good to remember that sometimes things being compared are quite similar, and other times they could be very different. Head Ranger Andrew Kearney heads out on a game drive this week to take a closer look at some distinct features that set some of these animals aside.
