ONE LAST GOODBYE was a song I wrote with Dodjie Simon (lyrics). Ms. Regine Velasquez and Ms. Lani Misalucha both liked the song and expressed their intention to include it in one of their forthcoming albums. It might not have jived with their album concepts so I asked Ms. Ayen Munji-Laurel to include it in her solo album. This cover of LA DIVA is totally different from the original. I assigned the lead vocals to JONA with backup vocals from Aicelle, Maricris and Jona.

In typical La Diva style - intricate vocal parts and counterpoints, outstanding interpretation and musical artistry. I created this type of vocal arrangement to set La Diva apart from other vocal groups. I love doing counterpoints by creating new melodies over the original melody, making sure Jona, Aicelle and Maricris are given solo parts to stand out on their own without having to sing harmony from beginning to end.

BACKSTORY: The song lost to Trina Belamide's NO LESS interpreted by Dessa in the official selection of the Philippine entry to the Asia Song Festival in 1999 (NO LESS won 2nd Prize and DESSA, Best Interpreter).
