故宮裡的中國大紀事 Chinese Chronicle in the Forbidden City

明年，是故宮建成的第600年，為了將紫禁城600年的風風雨雨、宮中秘聞一一展現出來，2020年的《故宮日曆》一改以往以生肖為主題的慣例，將故宮8700多間房劃分為10個區域，圍繞建築、文物、人物和秘聞，精選了365個知識點：最有看頭的是什麼？皇帝結婚的場面有多大？妃子們怎麼打發時間？乾隆建的養老院有多奢華……

Next year would be the 600th year of the Forbidden City, and to reveal the 600 years of history and secrets of the palace, the 2020 “Calendar of the Forbidden City” is themed around the buildings, cultural relics, people and anecdotes instead of the usual Chinese zodiac animals. More than 8700 rooms in the palace complex are grouped under 10 categories and 365 points are extracted for the compilation of the volume. What is there to see? What’s the wedding ceremony of an emperor like? How did the imperial concubines spend their days? How luxurious is the retirement house of Emperor Qianlong……
