Our ULTIMATE POLDARK walk
So how do you get to Porthcurno when it's busy in Cornwall? In our video we answer this using our local knowledge and take you to as many Poldark Film Locations in one walk as possible, in the West Penwith area.
Starting in the peaceful village of Treen, we briefly return to the main road before immediately heading to Penberth, used to portray Sawle village in current production of Poldark.
After climbing the steep, zig-zag coastal path towards Porthcurno, we are greeted by stunning views up and down the coast.
After a brief explore of Logan Rock, we head to Porthcurno, used as Nampara beach in the very early episodes. Onward, passing the Minack Theatre and Porthchapel Beach, we head to Porthgwarra, where Ross Poldark took a morning dip with Demelza cheekily watching on.
For a die hard fan, walking towards the Coast Guard station at Gwennap Head will complete the trip, finding the spots used as travelling shots, although we called it quits at Porthgwarra!
Returning via fields to Treen, we think this is the ultimate guide to seeing as many filming locations as possible in one walk whilst trying to avoid the worst of the congestion in this area.
For a detailed, annotated instruction video with extra content of the beautiful Porthchapel Beach, please join us on Patreon. We have also done all of the hard work for you and written out the instructions to screenshot or print out. Please note: mobile signal is poor in this area.
