Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment - Combat Systems (STAVE-CS)

Originally released in January 2019, this video features our training systems and simulated physical environments that provide watchstanders and maintainers the ability to gain proficiency through repeatable and repetitive exercises, drills, and evolutions ashore. It showcases how STAVE-CS provides significant advantages by training in a virtual environment through the use of courseware and simulators owned and implemented by the Navy.

Please note:
These trainers were funded by Director, Surface Warfare’s (OPNAV N96) program of record, STAVE-CS, which was introduced in 2015 as a means to provide better quality training resulting in more rapid qualifications of our Sailors.

You may see some old uniforms but there is nothing “old” about our STAVE-CS training solutions. They play a major role in training our surface warfighters to fight and win!
