Boy soprano Aksel Rykkvin (14y) sings Purcell in the funeral of his "mother"

Semi-opera 'Miranda' was created by Raphaël Pichon, Katie Mitchell and Cordelia Lynn for Opéra Comique (Paris) based on music by Purcell and characters from Shakespeare's 'The Tempest'.

Boy soprano Aksel Rykkvin, as 'Anthony', sings from Purcell arias 'Evening hymn' (duet with soprano Katherine Watson) and 'They tell us that your mighty powers' at his 'mother' Miranda's funeral service.
